Help Keep Our State Parks Open

Tell Gov. Schwarzenegger: Don't shut down 220 state parks!

The governor has proposed cutting the state parks budget to zero, which will mean park closings all over the state.

We need to protect our state parks, as a critical part of our state economy and a refuge for Californians – especially in tough times.

The entire parks
budget accounts for only 0.88 percent of the budget shortfall, and every dollar we spend on parks brings $2.35 back to the state in tourism.

Join me in e-mailing the governor telling him to protect our state parks.
